Sekarang saya tengah rotation di Dermatology, but here they call it 'Ilmu Kesehatan Kulit dan Kelamin'. So Dermatologist here is known as 'Spesialis Kulit dan Kelamin (SpKK)'.Gila aneh kan?
Ilmu Kesehatan Kulit dan Kelamin is indeed a very interesting subject to learn, or should I specify it only to the 'kelamin' part? Ya, truthfully dermatology itself is boring without penyakit kelamin or sexually transmitted disease. STD, with its disgusting, sickening appearance of symptoms around the genitals, however comes with great moral value if we think about it.
1st scenario:
A 50 year-old man, came to STD clinic, complaining of pain during urination, and thick yellow discharge from his penis, which he has experienced for nearly one week.
He explained himself to the doctor without being asked to.
"Doc, saya kemarin itu tidak mau dilayani sama isteri saya... Maka nya saya ke Dolly*.. hubungan sama PSK*."
*Dolly, or Gang Dolly refers to a road where alongside of this road, situated a huge (the largest in Asia Tenggara as they claimed it to be) prostitution center with lots of 'working girls' for you to choose one (Eh, lebih dari sorang pun takde hal). Murah ada, mahal pun ada. Macam-macam ada!
*PSK= Pekerja Seks Komersial = prostitute = pelacur
The physical and lab exam was conducted, and the old man was diagnosed as Gonorrhea positive. It's a common sexually transmitted disease caused by bacteria.
Moral of the story;
Cuba balik rumah cerita kat bini kau. Ada berani?
2nd scenario
A f***ing 17-year-old boy. I repeat, a f***ing 17-year-old, innocent-looking BOY, came to STD clinic, with exact same symptoms as orang tua tak sedar diri tadi. And he was diagnosed to have Gonorrhea too.
Moral of the story;
Baguih budak-budak sekolah zaman la ni. Rajin diorang menabung ye. Buat kuaq duit tabung buat sewa perempuan satu malam, lepas tu buat bayar ubat pulak. Baguih!
3rd scenario.
A 26 year-old woman, presented with complaints of painful sores around her genital. From the clinical exams, she was suspected to have genital herpes, also a common sexually-transmitted disease. She had sex with her husband a few days before the symptoms started. Her husband works outside of Surabaya and seldom comes back.
Question of the day:
Patient: "Doc, dari mana saya dapat penyakit ini? Apa dari suami saya? Apa benar doc ini dari suami saya?"
Doctor: "Err... Tidak semestinya bu. "
Patient: "Memalukan sekali ya doc.. kalau ini dari suami saya.." Ibu ni sudah mula bergenang air mata.
Doctor: "Ehm..bu jangan pikir bukan-bukan dulu ya bu. Kita periksa secara keseluruhan dulu. "
Anyway, herpes is not necessarily transmitted sexually. Any skin to skin contact is capable of spreading herpes. So... Tak boleh nak tuduh melulu si suami lah ye. Tapi... erm.. kerja jauh, jarang jumpa pulak tu. Ermm ermm (busuk gila aku ni nak menghasut pulak. ehehe.)
Moral of the story;
Dua pesan ikhlas dari saya;
2. Pakai la condom wey!
Sekian.
P/S: Having met all this kind of people really does not help for my unresolved trust issues. How like that? ("-_-) Lelaki..lelaki.. Haih.
